Emergency Transferred
Hey everyone! So I got my new tablet and it doesn't let me do videos as well so I have to write out an email again. So sorry!
This week was a little crazy though! On Tuesday President Forbes called and told me that I am going to be Emergency Transferred down to Bloomington. There were a lot of people that moved around as well and an area got shut down. So on Wednesday we had Zone Conference and after that was over the Assistants came and picked me up and I said my goodbye to Elder Beutler.
So my new companions are Elder Oldroyd, who was my Zone Leader, and Elder Anderson and they are awesome. We drove down with the Hmong Elders and helped them move their stuff and then went down to Bloomington.
Thursday we went on exchanges and I was with Elder Oldroyd and Elder Harper, my old companion. We worked in Bloomington for the day and then Elder Harper went back to Brooklyn Park. While Elder Oldroyd went and picked him up and dropped off Elder Anderson I helped at the mission office and just went and wrote down what kind of bikes were out in the shed and then moved something into the Forbes basement.
I have been able to drive the truck as well and I drove up through Minneapolis to Maple Grove and I got to drive up from Prior Lake to Bloomington all by myself in a different car and it was weird to not have a companion with me.
We have a few investigators but the one I have really met is Buddy. He is 17 and his dad is rocket man. You will have to look him up but he invents stuff and is like a stunt man. Anyways he took us on a drive through Minneapolis and took us to this huge bridge. He also came to church and the Mission Presidents fireside.
Mission Presidents fireside was legit! We had the Minnesota Mormon Chorale come, it's like MoTab but just Minnesota.. kind of. We had like 320 people that came. It was really good and we had Elder Stacey, who is an area 70. He spoke after and it was awesome and just talked about the spirit of music.
Today we had Zone p day and we went to a park and just played a bunch of sports and grilled burgers! It was really good. Anyways that's my week! I will talk to y'all Later!
